Bio
Hi there, I’m Navid.
Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computational Mathematics and Statistics at Marquette University. For a deeper dive into my academic work, feel free to explore the Teaching and Courses tabs.
Previously, I earned my Master’s degree in Biostatistics from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (ranked 1st in Iran for biostatistics). My thesis explored cure rate survival models using discrete frailty. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Shahid Beheshti University.
In addition to research, I have served as an Instructor of Record, taught diverse R workshops, and worked as a data analyst at TezolMarket, where I learned to tackle messy, real-world data challenges daily.
Beyond the numbers, I have a deep-seated interest in photography, books, and playing soccer.
